Mr. Weaverface EPK

bio/mission

With musical influences from 90's alternative rock bands such as Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, U2, Our Lady Peace and Stone Temple Pilots, Mr. Weaverface writes rock songs about spiritual warfare and the Good News and power of Jesus Christ. His songs combine the truth found in God's Word with what he learned through the process of deliverance, sanctification and God's supernatural intervention. Most of his songs are personal testimony to what Jesus did in his life with the intention of delivering that same message of how Jesus can transform the lives of others. His goal is to spread the Good News and the message of freedom with Christ through his original style of music and to help as many people going through similar battles.

Since 2022, Mr. Weaverface has shared the stage with Skillet, Crowder, Colton Dixon, Ben Fuller, The Protest, Behold the Beloved, Magdalene Rose, Matt Sassano and many others. He has performed at numerous Christian music festivals, including SoulFest, Agape Festival, SoulStock, Signal Boost Festival, HOPE Christian Music Festival and Ichthus Festival.

His songs have been regularly featured on terrestrial and Internet radio stations since he started releasing music. Two of his songs from his Jesus is Alive EP, “Jesus Is Alive” and “I May Never Die,” were regularly featured on 90.3 FM WJTL's Some Sort of Rock Show with John Staffieri. Both songs were included on the show's “Top 60 songs of '22.”

“These Lungs”, a song about almost dying from Covid-19, received repeated airplay throughout the year on WJTL, being listed as #21 on the Some Sort of Rock Show’s “Top 60 songs of ‘23.” Mr. Weaverface’s second release in 2023, “Thorn In My Flesh,” also received good reviews from Louder Than The Music.

His first chart breaking hit was “Above All Names,” remaining on the Christian Music Weekly’s Top 25 Christian Rock charts for 26 weeks, peaking at #6. “Above All Names” was also nominated for Rock Song of the Year by We Love Christian Music Awards and New Release Today.

His follow-up song, “O God, Help Me” was on the CMW Christian Rock charts for 34 weeks, in the Top 10 for ten weeks, peaking at #5.

Mr. Weaverface has been performing music over 25 years and has performed regionally at various venues in the Reading, Philadelphia, Allentown, York and Lancaster areas in Pennsylvania. He has also been leading worship with singing and playing guitar for the worship team at Community Evangelical Church in Sinking Spring, PA for over 15 years.

In the meanwhile, Mr. Weaverface continues his 20-year career as an eye doctor. He currently practices full-time optometry at his private practices, Weaver Eye Care Associates in Bernville, PA and Kutztown, PA. He is married to his amazing wife, Laura. They have two daughters, Kaylee and Chloe. Other than singing, playing guitar and songwriting, Mr. Weaverface enjoys playing and collecting video games, watching his daughters play sports and dance, creating videos for his YouTube Channel, hiking, playing golf, studying the Bible and reading other books about Christianity and spiritual warfare.

NEW SONG “River of Jordan”

“River of Jordan” is the latest release from Mr. Weaverface. The song is about the Biblical account of John the Baptist baptizing Jesus in the River of Jordan. The song is also a call for repentance and believing the Good News.

It’s unimaginable how glorious God’s Throne and the heavenly realms surrounding it must be. After a Bible study on every mention of God’s Throne, Mr. Weaverface wrote “Throne” to describe the awesomeness of His Throne and the exciting anticipation in ruling with God forever.

“World Can’t Satisfy” is about someone searching for the one thing that can perfectly fill the void in one’s heart. Turning to worldy vices is a fake satisfaction that is fleeting and leads down the path of destruction. This song answers the question to the one person looking for meaning and purpose in this lifetime.

“Above All Names” is a song about recognizing the power of Jesus’ Name. I called on Jesus’ Name when I was confronted with evil and Jesus freed me from the bondage of sin and addiction and all the negative spiritual aspects associated with it.

“‘Thorn In My Flesh’ is a personal song about a lifelong battle with the demonic. God revealed the realities of spiritual warfare to me and the relationship sin has with those evil influences. Most importantly, we are to trust God that He uses these evil schemes for good.”

Reflecting on times of spiritual warfare, Mr. Weaverface wrote “O God, Help Me as a personal lament with God. This conversation is one to which many can relate, asking God why there is a time of trouble, wondering if He notices and if there will ever be relief. However, the benefit of believing in God also allows one to trust in Him, asking for help to get through those desperate times of need.

“In early 2022, the devil tried to take me out with COVID pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, collapsed lung and a softball-sized lung cyst. ‘These Lungs’ is a praise song to God for getting me through all of that, healing me so that I could write and sing this song. Enjoy!”
