Mr. Weaverface’s EPK

“Above All Names” is a song about recognizing the power of Jesus’ Name. I called on Jesus’ Name when I was confronted with evil and Jesus freed me from the bondage of sin and addiction and all the negative spiritual aspects associated with it.

“‘Thorn In My Flesh’ is a personal song about a lifelong battle with the demonic. God revealed the realities of spiritual warfare to me and the relationship sin has with those evil influences. Most importantly, we are to trust God that He uses these evil schemes for good.”

“In early 2022, the devil tried to take me out with COVID pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, collapsed lung and a softball-sized lung cyst. ‘These Lungs’ is a praise song to God for getting me through all of that, healing me so that I could write and sing this song. Enjoy!”

**NEW SONG “O God, Help Me”**

Release Date November, 8 2024

"O God, Help Me" is a new Christian rock single released by Mr. Weaverface. Reflecting on times of spiritual warfare, Mr. Weaverface wrote this lament as a personal conversation with God. This conversation is one to which many can relate, asking God why there is a time of trouble, wondering if He notices and if there will ever be relief. However, the benefit of believing in God also allows one to trust in Him, asking for help to get through those desperate times of need.

With musical influences from 90's alternative rock bands such as Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, U2, Our Lady Peace and Stone Temple Pilots, Mr. Weaverface writes rock songs about spiritual warfare and the Good News and power of Jesus Christ. His songs combine the truth found in God's Word with what he learned through the process of deliverance, sanctification and God's supernatural intervention. Most of his songs are personal testimony to what Jesus did in his life with the intention of delivering that same message of how Jesus can transform the lives of others. His goal is to spread the Good News and the message of freedom with Christ through his original style of music and to help as many people going through similar battles.

Since Mr. Weaverface entered the Christian Music rock scene in early 2022, he has been working hard and making strides in the industry. His primary goal is to get out the Good News of Jesus Christ through his music.

At SoulFest at the Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, NH in August 2022, he performed on the Deeper Well stage. He also played with Jeff Senour & Called To Serve as a last-minute fill-in guitarist, learning 8 songs in one day and shared the main Revival stage with other Christian musicians such as Skillet, Crowder and Colton Dixon.

Two of his songs from his Jesus is Aive EP, “Jesus Is Alive” and “I May Never Die,” were regularly featured on 90.3 FM WJTL's Some Sort of Rock Show with John Staffieri. Both songs were included on the show's “Top 60 songs of '22.”

In early 2023, Mr. Weaverface released a song about almost dying from Covid, “These Lungs,” which received repeated airplay throughout the year on WJTL, being listed as #21 on the Some Sort of Rock Show’s “Top 60 songs of ‘23.” Mr. Weaverface’s second release in 2023, “Thorn In My Flesh,” also received good reviews from Louder Than The Music.

In 2024, Mr. Weaverface opened for Ben Fuller at SoulStock 2024 in St. Mary’s, PA. He also opened for Matt Sassano at Agape Fest in Shirleyburg, PA. He performed at the HOPE Christian Music Festival as well as other events.

His latest release, “Above All Names,” made the Christian Music Weekly’s Top 25 Christian Rock charts. The song has been there for 17 weeks, peaking at #6. The song was also nominated for Rock/Alternative Song of the Year for the We Love Christian Music Awards.

Mr. Weaverface has been performing music over 25 years and has performed regionally at various venues in the Reading, Philadelphia, Allentown, York and Lancaster areas in Pennsylvania. He has also been leading worship with singing and playing guitar for the worship team at Community Evangelical Church in Sinking Spring, PA for over 15 years.

In the meanwhile, Mr. Weaverface continues his 20-year career as an eye doctor. He currently practices full-time optometry at his private practices, Weaver Eye Care Associates in Bernville, PA and Kutztown, PA. He is married to his amazing wife, Laura. They have two daughters, Kaylee and Chloe. Other than singing, playing guitar and songwriting, Mr. Weaverface enjoys playing and collecting video games, watching his daughters play sports and dance, creating videos for his YouTube Channel, hiking, playing golf, studying the Bible and reading other books about Christianity and spiritual warfare.
